DTF Warehouse F-27 Pro printer

Introduction

The DTF Warehouse F-27 Pro is a 33cm dual-head DTF printer designed for businesses that need faster production while maintaining sharp detail, strong colour and consistent output.

The F-27 Pro uses two XP600 printheads. Head 1 is dedicated to CMYK and Head 2 is dedicated to white ink. The machine also includes white ink circulation, a white ink tank stirrer, a front heating plate, a vacuum printing bed and a roll feeder with a maximum width of 33cm.

The printer is controlled using PrintEXP and connects to the computer using an Ethernet cable. Artwork is processed using the same RIP software used with the S1-Mini.

First steps

  1. Unbox the machine and remove all transit packaging.
  2. Check all supplied accessories, cables and consumables before beginning setup.
  3. Read or watch all supplied setup instructions before adding ink or changing software settings.
  4. Position the printer on a stable, level surface and complete the physical setup shown in the supplied guide.

F-27 Pro support FAQs

Frequently asked questions

How often should the machine be cleaned?+

The F-27 Pro should receive daily and weekly maintenance in line with the maintenance guidance supplied with your machine.

Before starting daily production, perform a nozzle check and confirm that both the CMYK XP600 printhead and the white XP600 printhead are printing correctly.

Regular maintenance is especially important with DTF printing because white ink can settle and dried ink can build up around the printheads, capping system and other ink-system components.

Follow the supplied F-27 Pro maintenance videos and manuals consistently to reduce blockages, maintain print quality and avoid unnecessary component replacement.

Where can I buy replacement parts?+

You can buy replacement parts for your F-27 Pro from our printer-parts section. We recommend using DTF Warehouse-approved parts to make sure they are suitable for the machine.

If you cannot find the part you need, contact our support team with your machine model, order number and, where possible, a photo of the part or fault so we can help identify the correct replacement.

View our printer-parts section here.

Which consumables are compatible?+

We recommend using DTF Warehouse-approved DTF ink, PET film, powder and cleaning solution with your F-27 Pro.

The F-27 Pro uses CMYK and white DTF ink. Its roll feeder supports film up to 33cm wide, with 30cm film supplied with the machine.

Using the correct consumables is important for consistent print quality and reliable operation. Mixing incompatible inks or using unsuitable cleaning products can cause print-quality or ink-system problems.

You can find the recommended consumables here.

F-27 Pro troubleshooting

Frequently asked questions

My nozzle check has missing lines. What should I do?+

First identify whether the missing nozzles are on Head 1 (CMYK) or Head 2 (white). Run the normal cleaning procedure shown in your F-27 Pro maintenance guide, then print another nozzle check.

If there is no improvement, check the ink level and visually inspect the relevant ink path and dampers for obvious air or loss of ink supply. Do not repeatedly run cleaning cycles without checking the nozzle pattern between cleans.

If the same channels remain missing after normal maintenance, follow the supplied capping-station and printhead cleaning procedure. Avoid forcing cleaning solution through an XP600 printhead unless you have been specifically shown how to do this, as excessive pressure can damage the head.

If the blockage remains, contact DTF Warehouse Technical Support with a clear photo of the nozzle check and confirm whether the issue is affecting the CMYK or white printhead.

My F-27 Pro is printing lines or banding across the image. What should I check?+

Start with a nozzle check. Missing nozzles on either XP600 printhead can cause banding or inconsistent output. Resolve any missing channels before changing RIP settings.

If the nozzle check is complete, confirm that the correct F-27 Pro profile and pass mode are selected in the RIP software. Also check that the PET film is feeding smoothly and remains straight across the vacuum printing bed.

If banding continues with a perfect nozzle check, contact support before making advanced calibration or PrintEXP adjustments.

White ink is not printing correctly. What should I do?+

The F-27 Pro uses a dedicated XP600 printhead for white ink, so begin by printing a nozzle check and checking whether the white channels are complete.

Make sure there is sufficient white ink in the tank and that the white ink circulation and stirring system is being used as instructed. White DTF ink can separate when left unmanaged for long periods.

If the white nozzle pattern is incomplete, carry out the normal cleaning procedure for the white head and check again. If the issue repeatedly returns, inspect the white ink supply and dampers for obvious air or loss of ink before continuing to clean.

Persistent white-head blockages should be reported to DTF Warehouse support before attempting an aggressive manual flush.

One or more colours are missing from my print.+

Print a nozzle check first. CMYK is printed by Head 1 on the F-27 Pro, so missing colour channels should be visible in the CMYK section of the nozzle pattern.

Perform the recommended cleaning procedure and check that there is sufficient ink and no obvious loss of ink supply to the affected channel. Reprint the nozzle check after each clean.

If the colour remains completely absent after normal troubleshooting, contact support rather than repeatedly cleaning the printhead.

My prints look faded or the colours are incorrect. What should I do?+

Start by checking the CMYK nozzle pattern. Partially blocked nozzles can change colour balance, saturation and detail.

If the nozzle check is complete, check that the correct F-27 Pro print profile, pass mode and artwork colour settings are selected in the RIP software.

Remember that computer displays use RGB while the printer creates colour using CMYK. Some bright or neon screen colours cannot be reproduced exactly using standard CMYK DTF ink.

If the problem began after changing RIP or PrintEXP settings, return to the supplied settings before making further adjustments.

The DTF film is feeding crooked or moving sideways.+

Check that the film roll has been loaded squarely and is feeding evenly into the printer. The F-27 Pro supports film up to 33cm wide, so the roll must be aligned correctly before printing.

Make sure nothing is pulling the film to one side or restricting it as it enters or exits the printer. Confirm the film lies correctly across the vacuum printing bed and that the vacuum is operating as intended.

Re-load the film if necessary and test the feed before starting another full production print.

Ink is smearing or appearing wet on the film.+

Check that the PET film is loaded on the correct printable side and that the correct F-27 Pro profile is selected in the RIP software.

Check that the front heating plate is operating as expected and that the film is sitting correctly over the vacuum printing bed. Excessive ink limits can also cause pooling, so compare your settings with the supplied RIP profile rather than increasing CMYK or white ink percentages at random.

High humidity can also affect film and ink behaviour. Keep the printing environment at approximately 40–60% humidity and 15–30°C.

PrintEXP is not detecting my F-27 Pro. What should I do?+

The F-27 Pro connects to the computer using Ethernet. First make sure the printer is powered on and the Ethernet cable is firmly connected at both the printer and computer or configured network connection.

Open PrintEXP and confirm the printer connection settings match those provided in your F-27 Pro setup guide. The computer's Ethernet adapter and printer must be configured so they can communicate with each other.

If the connection previously worked, check whether the Windows network settings, Ethernet adapter, firewall or PrintEXP connection settings have changed.

Do not guess new IP or network values. If you cannot restore communication using the supplied settings, contact DTF Warehouse support for the correct F-27 Pro connection details.

My RIP software is not sending the job to the printer.+

First confirm that PrintEXP can communicate with the F-27 Pro through the Ethernet connection. If PrintEXP cannot see the printer, resolve the connection problem before troubleshooting the RIP.

If PrintEXP is connected, check that the correct F-27 Pro output and profile are selected in the RIP software and that the job has completed processing correctly.

Check for paused or failed jobs and restart the RIP software, PrintEXP and printer if necessary. If the connection works but jobs still do not transfer correctly, contact support so the RIP and PrintEXP configuration can be checked.

The printer has been left unused. What should I do before printing again?+

Before starting production, inspect the machine and ink system and make sure the white ink has not been left separated. Follow the supplied white ink agitation and circulation procedure before printing.

Print a nozzle check for both XP600 printheads. Resolve missing CMYK or white channels using the normal F-27 Pro maintenance procedure before sending a production job.

Once both nozzle patterns are complete, run a small test print and check colour, white coverage, film feed and overall print quality.

If the machine has been left unused for an extended period and you cannot recover the nozzle pattern through normal maintenance, contact support before attempting an aggressive manual printhead flush.

What temperature and humidity should I use the F-27 Pro in?+

We recommend operating the F-27 Pro at approximately 15–30°C with 40–60% humidity. Keeping the room within this range helps provide more consistent ink behaviour and reduces problems caused by very dry or very humid conditions.

I have cleaned the printhead but the problem keeps coming back. What should I do?+

Do not continue running cleaning cycles indefinitely. Print another nozzle check and identify whether the recurring issue is on the CMYK XP600 head or the white XP600 head.

Check the ink supply, dampers, capping and cleaning area, white ink circulation and printing environment. A fault that repeatedly returns can indicate an ink-supply problem, maintenance issue or a printhead that requires further diagnosis.

Contact DTF Warehouse Technical Support with a photo of the nozzle check and a description of the maintenance already completed before replacing parts or performing advanced manual cleaning.

Need more help?

For technical support, include your order number, machine serial number, a description of the fault and a clear photo of your latest nozzle check where possible.
