Introduction

The DTF Warehouse A3+ Curing Oven is a contact-style DTF curing oven designed to provide controlled, even heat across your transfers. Unlike traditional bulb ovens that rely on radiant heat, the contact heat plate is designed to provide more consistent heat distribution across the film.

The oven features a 35 x 50cm heat plate, LCD control display, adjustable countdown timer, alarm and smoke filter vent. It is suitable for A3+, A3 and A4 DTF transfers.

Recommended starting cure

Our recommended starting point is 125°C for 60 seconds.

This is a starting setting rather than a fixed setting for every print. Larger or smaller designs can require different curing times, and the required cure can also change depending on the temperature of the room, humidity and the volume of ink that has been printed onto the film.

Always check the finished transfer and make small adjustments to time or temperature where required rather than assuming one setting will suit every print.

A correctly cured transfer should have an orange-peel style appearance across the powdered area once curing is complete. If the powder still looks loose, grainy or granular, the transfer is under-cured and requires additional curing.

Under-cured powder can prevent the transfer from bonding correctly to the garment. This can cause the design to transfer poorly, fail to adhere properly or peel away from the garment after pressing.

First steps

1. Remove all packaging and check the curing oven and supplied accessories for transit damage.
2. Place the oven on a stable, suitable surface in a well-ventilated room with enough surrounding space for safe operation.
3. Use the oven with either the DTF Warehouse Air Purifier Mini or suitable exhaust ventilation that removes curing fumes from the working area.
4. Read the supplied manual before switching the oven on for the first time.
5. Plug the oven into the correct power supply and switch the machine on.
6. Set the starting temperature to 125°C and the timer to 60 seconds.
7. Allow the oven to reach the selected temperature before beginning your first cure.
8. Place the printed film into the oven with the powder side facing up and the printed design side facing down.
9. Start with a test transfer and check the cured powder before moving into normal production.
10. A correctly cured powder layer should have an orange-peel style appearance rather than remaining loose or granular.
11. Adjust the curing time if required for different print sizes, ink coverage or room conditions.

Quick start guide

1. Position the oven in a well-ventilated room and make sure either the DTF Warehouse Air Purifier Mini or suitable exhaust ventilation is being used.
2. Plug the curing oven into the correct power supply and switch it on.
3. Set the temperature to 125°C.
4. Set the countdown timer to 60 seconds.
5. Wait until the oven has reached the selected operating temperature.
6. Prepare the powdered DTF transfer ready for curing.
7. Place the film into the oven with the powder side facing up and the printed design side facing down.
8. Cure the transfer using the 125°C / 60 second starting point.
9. Inspect the powder. A correctly cured transfer should have an orange-peel style appearance.
10. If the powder still looks loose, grainy or granular, it is under-cured and requires additional curing.
11. If required, make a small adjustment to curing time or temperature and test again.

Important: 125°C for 60 seconds is our recommended starting point. A small print with lighter ink coverage may behave differently to a large, heavily saturated print. Room temperature and humidity can also affect the cure, so always judge the result rather than relying on the timer alone.

Do not press a transfer while the powder is still loose or granular. Under-cured powder can cause the design to transfer incorrectly, fail to bond properly or peel away from the garment after pressing.
